🍇Wine made up of Sangiovese 80%, Cabernet Sauvignon 10% and Merlot 10%, the aging in French oak and the aging in bottle enrich it in structure and harmony.

👃To the nose they feel in a direct and vertical way the violet flowers, such as violet and wisteria, in sequence red fruit, among blueberries and blackcurrants, raspberries and plums; light note of pepper and cardamom, to close with a hint of licorice.

👄The mouthfeel is strong and intense with a wrapping vanilla note mixed with black cherry and black currant; a slight spiciness of black pepper with sage and mint alternating with mallow and licorice; the tannins are fairly balanced and elegant.

🍷This wine, in my opinion, has a basic power, it will give its best with the passage of time, it can be represented figuratively associative to a famous actor like #SeanConnery who, as he got older, made his vitality, structure and body of the components of thickness and intensity.

🥰Ilaria and family concentrate the production through native vines, in addition to Sangiovese, apply for the recovery of some biodiversity including the Nocchianello Spiga di Grano, grapes of Tuscan origin, the particular name may derive from nocchia, hazel, perhaps because of the colour of its wood, or from the knuckle (nóccola) that could refer to the shape of the cluster, small and compact as a hand closed in a fist.
